Online Submission

The ICMERD-International Journal of Neuroscience (ICMERD-IJN) welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications through its streamlined online submission system. The submission process is designed to be user-friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth experience for authors.

Submission Process

Authors can submit their manuscripts using the following steps:

1. Register or Login

Go to the journal’s official submission platform:

Create an account or log in using your existing credentials.

2. Prepare Your Manuscript

Ensure that your manuscript follows the Author Guidelines provided by the journal. A correctly formatted submission should include:

✅ Title page with author details
✅ Abstract and keywords
✅ Main text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
✅ Figures, tables, and captions
✅ Conflict of interest statement
✅ Acknowledgments
✅ References in APA (7th Edition) format

3. Upload Files

Upload the following files to the system:

Manuscript File: In Microsoft Word (.docx) format
Figures and Tables: As separate high-resolution files (JPEG, PNG, TIFF)
Cover Letter: Outlining the significance of the study and confirming that the manuscript is not under review elsewhere
Supplementary Material: If applicable

4. Select Manuscript Type

Choose the appropriate category:

Original Research
Review Article
Case Report
Short Communication
Letter to the Editor

5. Confirm Ethical Compliance

Authors must confirm that the research complies with the journal’s ethical guidelines, including:

IRB approval for human/animal studies
Informed consent from participants (if applicable)
Disclosure of conflicts of interest

6. Submit Manuscript

Once all files are uploaded and details are complete:
✅ Click the “Submit” button.
✅ A confirmation email with a unique submission ID will be sent.

7. Track Submission Status

Authors can log in to their account to monitor the status of the submission.
Regular updates will be provided via email regarding the peer-review process and editorial decisions.

8. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure objectivity and high quality.
Initial feedback is typically provided within 3–4 weeks of submission.
Authors are given 2–3 weeks to revise and resubmit after peer review.

9. Final Acceptance and Proofs

After acceptance, authors will receive a proof for review.
Corrections should be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the proof.
The article will be published online first before inclusion in a journal issue.

10. Publication and Access

Published articles are freely accessible under the Creative Commons License (CC BY 4.0).
Articles are indexed in leading databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar.
