ICMERD-International Journal of Food and Nutrition Science (ICMERD-IJFNS) accepts manuscript submissions through its secure online submission portal. This system ensures a streamlined submission process and allows authors to track the status of their submissions in real time. Authors are encouraged to follow the guidelines carefully to facilitate a smooth review process.


How to Submit

Alternatively, authors can submit their manuscripts via email to editor@icmerd.com. Please ensure that the manuscript follows the journal's author guidelines before submission.


Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure the following requirements are met:

✔ The manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.
✔ The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
✔ The manuscript includes a structured abstract (Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion).
✔ All tables and figures are properly labeled and placed at the end of the manuscript or submitted as separate files.
✔ All references are cited using APA (7th edition) style.
Ethical approval and informed consent statements are included (if applicable).
✔ Any conflicts of interest and funding sources are disclosed.


Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process:

  1. Initial Screening: The editorial team screens the submission for formatting and plagiarism.

  2. Reviewer Assignment: The manuscript is assigned to two or more independent reviewers.

  3. Review Evaluation: Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, clarity, methodology, and relevance.

  4. Author Revisions: Authors receive feedback and are expected to revise the manuscript accordingly.

  5. Final Decision: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final acceptance or rejection decision based on the reviewers’ feedback.


Copyright and Open Access

  • Authors retain copyright under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).

  • All articles are published under an open access model, ensuring that the research is freely available to the public without subscription fees.

  • Authors are permitted to share and distribute their work with proper attribution.
