Abstract

The increasing recognition of climate change and environmental degradation has compelled the dental profession to adopt sustainable practices and materials. This paper reviews emerging biomaterials and eco-friendly protocols in restorative dentistry, contextualized, and evaluates their impact on reducing the ecological footprint while maintaining or improving patient outcomes. A comprehensive analysis of highlights innovations in biocompatible restorative materials, low-energy clinical workflows, and waste minimization strategies. The study further proposes integrative frameworks for adopting green dentistry without compromising clinical effectiveness. Visual schematics and tabular summaries illustrate key comparisons and recommended practices.
