Clinical Performance and Longevity of Lithium Disilicate Versus Zirconia Crowns in Anterior Esthetic Zones Over a Five-Year Observational Study

This study compares the clinical performance, esthetics, and five-year survival rates of lithium disilicate and zirconia crowns placed in anterior esthetic zones. Through retrospective observational data from 212 crowns in 74 patients, it evaluates restoration success, material failures, esthetic outcomes, and patient satisfaction. Findings suggest lithium disilicate offers superior esthetics while zirconia shows better mechanical endurance in high-stress conditions.
