Abstract

Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is a cornerstone of modern nursing, emphasizing the integration of research evidence, clinical expertise, and patient values to enhance healthcare outcomes. However, the consistent integration of EBP into nursing education and practice remains a challenge. This paper explores the theoretical foundations of EBP in nursing, analyzes pre-2022 literature on academic-practice gaps, and discusses strategies to overcome these divides. By integrating EBP into the curriculum and aligning it with clinical training, nursing programs can better prepare graduates for evidence-informed care.
