Burnout among nurses is a growing concern worldwide, often leading to psychological distress, reduced job performance, and increased turnover. This paper explores how the work environment and individual coping strategies influence mental health and burnout levels among nurses. Synthesizing literature prior to 2021, the paper examines critical factors including workload, leadership, organizational culture, and psychological resilience. Data reveals that positive work environments, strong leadership, and adaptive coping strategies significantly reduce burnout prevalence.
