Abstract

The Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) significantly impairs motor skill acquisition, affecting daily functioning and academic achievement in children. Early physiotherapy interventions have emerged as a promising approach to mitigate these deficits by leveraging neuroplasticity during critical developmental periods. This paper evaluates the outcomes of early physiotherapy for DCD, synthesizing previous research, assessing empirical findings, and highlighting implications for practice. Quantitative analyses underscore consistent improvements in motor proficiency, participation, and psychosocial well-being. Future work should refine intervention protocols and explore long-term sustainability.
