Abstract

Integrative rehabilitation approaches have gained increasing attention for improving functional outcomes in patients with neurological and respiratory conditions. Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and chronic respiratory disorders often lead to impaired motor and cardiopulmonary function, which negatively affects patients' quality of life. This paper explores the impact of combining motor rehabilitation strategies with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs to enhance recovery and functional independence. The study evaluates the effectiveness of multidisciplinary approaches, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and cognitive training, on motor and cardiopulmonary outcomes. A review of literature prior to 2021 reveals that integrative rehabilitation leads to significant improvements in motor strength, gait, balance, pulmonary capacity, and overall physical endurance. The findings highlight the importance of combining neurological and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs for comprehensive patient recovery.
