Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are a significant global health issue, contributing to chronic pain, disability, and reduced quality of life. Early diagnosis, effective interventions, and holistic pain management strategies are crucial for improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare burdens. This paper explores the current landscape of MSD prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, focusing on manual therapy, exercise therapy, and multidisciplinary pain management approaches. Through a thorough literature review of research published before 2019, this paper synthesizes the evidence supporting various therapeutic modalities and their efficacy in managing MSDs. The findings underscore the importance of integrated care models that combine physical, psychological, and pharmacological strategies for comprehensive MSD management.
