The emergence of wearable cardiac monitors combined with real-time data analytics represents a transformative leap in the management of atrial fibrillation (AF). This paper explores pioneering technologies and early-stage clinical evidence prior to 2021, focusing on how these digital tools have enabled personalized treatment strategies, early AF detection, and improved patient outcomes. Limitations and future prospects are also discussed.
